Interior Design

Working with the brief

From our initial consultation to the end of the project, we will be with you every step of the way. Tell us your likes and dislikes and we will work within your budget to deliver a gorgeous interior you can be proud of. It’s your home, and the design should reflect your personality.

Bold or understated, the choice is yours. We love creating mood using compatible or contrasting colours, clever storage solutions and carefully selected furniture and lighting.

Our work includes a makeover of one room, or more extensive renovations by working closely with our reputable and trusted tradesman where needed or carry out the work ourselves.

Following our initial telephone conversation, we will arrange a visit to discuss your requirements. We will then draw up a plan that can be agreed on, and we aim to exceed your expectations with a stunning interior design. Following your approval we start managing the project, carrying the work out ourselves where possible and overseeing other trades.

We offer designs for living areas, hallways, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. We source quality items according to your budget.

Our fees will depend on the scale of the project, so please call us to discuss your requirements.

Before After

Disguise An Exterior Turned Interior Wall Window

The use of glass blocks was a clever and stylish design choice to solve the problem of allowing light into the rooms beyond, and to make a statement in the living area.

Before After

Bedroom Restyle

We made a statement with this interior design. Simply painting one wall a strong colour doesn’t make a feature. We have used texture, colour and natural material to create an inviting hotel feel to this guest bedroom. If this was a house sale project we would have used more neutral colours, but everything here feels relaxed and connected.

Media Wall

Media Wall

We wanted to make the most of the view of the garden, so the location of the sofa was moved to the wall under the glass blocks. As there was a radiator along that wall, we fit a modern upright radiator to save wall space.  The room was lacking warmth and didn’t feel cosy, and apart from the view to the garden or the television in the corner, there wasn’t a focal point. We decided a fire was the best bet and had options of a wood burner, gas fire or electric fire. However, we love the impressive feel of the real flame effect electric fires and thought a large one would look good, but there wasn’t enough space to fit one between the sofa and television.

The solution was to mount the television above the fire, creating storage space either side of the fake chimney breast.

FAQs

Do I need an interior designer?

No, many people are more than capable of designing the spaces around them perfectly well. But if you are struggling for ideas, or something in your space isn’t working, fresh eyes and fresh ideas can be well worthwhile. Or maybe you just want to try something different but aren’t sure if your ideas will work. We can also offer a 3D visualisation service to allow you to see the finished product before going ahead.

Can I just have a design and do the work myself?

Yes of course, but we would love to come back and see the finished design.

What if I decide not to go ahead with the design?

The consultation is free, and we can discuss the outline of the design there and then. If you want to withdraw from the process before any actual design/sourcing is done then it’s no problem.

Me and my partner can't decide on a design due to different tastes. Can you help?

We create designs with broad appeal, there’s no reason why both of you won’t love it.

What should my budget be?

You can have a relatively small budget for living areas if you are happy with the furniture, and it’s really just a case of redecorating and updating. If you are remodelling a kitchen or bathroom you will obviously need a larger budget, and the bigger the space the larger the budget. However, our fees won’t increase just because the space is larger.
